ECHO Board News

| A Time of Reflection, a retreat led by Doug Rodrigues
from California highlighted our many board meetings held this
summer. During this overnight retreat Doug helped us to examine
our purpose as a board, our leadership styles, our sense of
community, our responsibilities as board members and focused
our attention on a close examination of the ECHO program. |

We laughed, shed tears, and came to a deeper appreciation
of the many diverse talents each person brings to the board.
All agreed that after 33 years ECHO truly is a “miracle
program”. |
| Currently we are working to develop a Mission Statement for
ECHO that we hope will guide the program in the future. |
