Celebrate our new web page!!! Check it
out! This month we added pictures from ECHO
222 and 223. (wonderful pics of Fr.
Campbell being blessed by the team as they celebrated his 50 years
of priesthood.) You need to click on the pictures if you want full
size and then print them if you have a color printer.
We also added "An OLD
TIMER'S PHOTO ALBUM". We need you help to really make this
successful. If you have pictures from a long ago weekend, send them
to Mary Fuller or bring them to the next closing. Jeanne will scan
them, add them to the page and we will return the photos to you.
We're still working on the ECHO TRIVIA section and will gladly accept
recommendations. Remember you can print applications from the site
so you'll never be without!
ECHO 224 will begin on Friday, Mar.1st and
the closing will be held at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville,
on Sunday Mar.3rd at 7 p.m. Plan to support the team and candidates
with your palanca. Once again we remind you that PALANCA means prayer
and sacrifice, the lifting of our hearts and minds to Jesus to ask
Him to touch the hearts of the candidates and fill them with His
Spirit.
The Palanca room, located in the Centerville Recreation
Building on Main St., will be open from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m Friday
and from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Palanca room
will not be open on Sundays.
The theme of the weekend will be There Will
Come A Day from the song by Faith Hill:
It's not easy trying to understand how the
world can be so cold. Stealing the souls of a man.
Cloudy skies rain down on all your dreams. You wrestle with the
fear and doubts
Sometimes it's hard, but you gotta believe.
CH. There's a better place, where Our Father waits and every tear
He'll wipe away
The darkness will be gone, The weak shall be strong
Hold on to your faith, There will come a day, There will come a
day.
Wars are raging, lives are scattered. Innocence
is lost, and hopes are shattered
The old are forgotten, the children are forsaken, In this world
we're living in, is there anything sacred
